Ava will have her lip surgery on, Thursday, November 20. While we're glad to have a date, it makes me very sad knowing that she will have pain. I know she'll be fine, but I will be a wreck! She also has an appointment with an ENT to find out if she needs tubes in her ears for sure. If so, we are hoping to coordinate the ENT with her surgery so she won't have to have a separate procedure.
Frankie has been accepted as a student ambassador in a program called People to People. She will be going to China next summer! The program was started by President Dwight Eisenhower in an effort to actualize his vision of creating peaceful relations between the citizens of all nations in 1956. Student Ambassadors represent their school, community, state, and country while traveling abroad. They learn about other cultures, experience unique activities, and meet local people. She is so excited and we're happy for her. Now all we have to do is save, save, save until next summer to help her acheive this dream.
The rest of us are doing well, moving along, and happy. More later...

Hi.
I remember you guys from the FCC Pumpkin Patch.
So glad Ava will get the work she needs. But yes, she is too sweet to have to be in pain. Best of luck for a healthy outcome of it all.
Thinking of you.
