Ok, I didn't think we'd ever say this, but... we miss Ava's old mouth. She had the biggest and most wonderful smile and could sort of "suck" her lips together and make a funny face that won't be the same. She was so darn cute. Having said that we are starting to see what Ava will look like now and, boy, she is really adorable. Sweet little lips and nose and her happy self is coming through now too. What do you guys think?
She really wants to EAT FOOD. She pushes the syringes away no matter what we've put in them. So far the only one she will take eventually is the chocolate PediaSur which has the nutrients of a full meal so at least she's taking a good one.
Pat was starting to get sick starting yesterday and really thought he was in for it. But as the day has gone on, he's feeling better. Thank goodness.
Well it's time to try to get some sleep with Ava.

What do we think? Wow!! Ava is beautiful! I understand totally about missing her cleft, that is how we felt with Lizzie also. Now you get to fall in love all over again with a new smile.
