We finally got some updated information on Ava. An organization called LadyBugs in Love contacted the orphanage to ask ten questions and to try and get some pictures. They were not able to get any pictures yet, but the message from LadyBugs in Love stated that they would forward them as soon as they arrived.
The questions we asked and the answers are:

2. Are there any health issues or medications that Ava is dealing with? "No"
3. Is Ava's motor skills, cognitive development, behavior, emotional behavior progressing appropriately for her age. "Yes"
4. How would you describe her personality? "She is fairly extroverted." (my remarks: Oh boy, we are in for it).
5. Updated measurements. "Height 72cm, Weight 9kg, Head 42cm, Chest 46cm, Foot 9.5cm, Teeth 2" translation : Height 28.35 inches, Weight 19lbs 13.5 oz, Head 16.5 inches, Chest 18.11 inches
6. What does she like to eat and how do you feed her? "She likes to eat sweet food such as crackers. Feed her slowly in case she get choke."
7. Is she in an orphanage or foster care and who is she close to? "She is in the orphanage and she is close to Li Ai Yun"
8. What does she like to do? "she likes to play with toys"
9. What makes her happy or upset? "To hold her and talk to makes her happy. Whe she sees nanny was holding other children, she will be jealous and upset. (my remarks: Once again, we are in trouble)
10. How do you soothe her when she is sad or upset? "Hold her and give her some toys"
11. Is she allergic to anything? "no"
We wish that we could have gotten some pictures, but hopefully they are coming soon. It was just fantastic to get some new information on her. We still wait for our travel approval, and expect to get it any day. It has been three weeks since our LOA came, so we are on pins and needles. More updates to come soon.
